Mike Waterfield designed an amazing logo for the Friends of Joe’s, which we are putting on great gear for us all to use.

We ordered some great drifit performance Paragon shirts, in Emergency Yellow, along with Friends of Joe’s T-shirts in Sport Grey, Irish Green, and Heliconia Pink. Buy one right now and pick it up at one of our next events!

It is wonderful to see how many friends of Joe’s have come up and volunteered! We still have big planning tasks that we need to tackle.

• manage the apparel sales drive (several people needed; many volunteers will be available for the actual sales dates and locations)
• coordinate Sept 13 Family Night in the Park event activities
• Friends of Joe’s accounting, and money management on event days
• investigate October 5 Family Walk/ Run/ Ride fundraising opportunity
• investigate Halloween candy and Christmas ornaments fundraising opportunity
• work with Kevan O to plan the November 16 Packers Party
• and much more…

Please volunteer and let us know what you would like to do! We have little time to make it all happen and we really need your help.

On September 13, the Friends of Joe’s are hosting an old-fashioned Family Night in the Park.

For the cost of a movie night, the adults can enjoy music, shows and lawn games, while the children are having fun in their attractions area, with food and refreshments for all, and the satisfaction of knowing that the money goes to a good cause.
